The DUI Victims Center of Kansas is led by a Board of Directors with a wide-range of experience and expertise.
Chief James "Tim" Bryan
Interim Board Chair
Chief Bryan joined the Board of Directors in 2024 and has been a steadfast partner in advancing initiatives to combat impaired driving. With a distinguished career in law enforcement, he is widely respected by his colleagues as a strong advocate for impaired driving enforcement. In 2025, he stepped into the role of Interim Board Chair, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to our mission. We are honored to welcome Chief Bryan as our Board Chair.
Rev. Fr. Aaron Warwick
Vice Chair
Father Aaron Warwick has served on the Board of Directors since 2018. He has been a constant champion of the DUI Victims Center of Kansas mission and has served as a spiritual ambassador- sharing our message with the Orthodox community, praying for the families we work with, and our impact on the community.
Tara Higgins-Jost
Treasurer
Tara joined the Board of Directors in 2022. Tara is the President/CEO of Higgins Group, Inc. and as part of the board, she contributes her financial expertise and leadership, guiding the financial integrity of the DUI Victims Center of Kansas.
Joseph Knorp
Board Member
Joe joined the Board of Directors in 2023 and quickly became an engaged and enthusiastic member, actively attending events and supporting victims of impaired driving. He serves as a Client Advisor at INTRUST Bank.
Cristin Coats
Board Member
Cristin joined the Board of Directors in 2025 and has quickly made a meaningful impact, bringing her expertise from The Treehouse to support the agency’s fundraising efforts while also contributing in a variety of volunteer roles.
Heather Plaza
Board Member
Heather joined the Board of Directors at the end of 2025, bringing with her two years of prior service to the agency in roles such as Victim Advocate and Executive Director. The agency is honored to have her continued leadership and experience on the Board.
