On Saturday, February 21, 2026, the DUI Victims Center of Kansas hosted its 1st Annual Serving Up Support Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle in Wichita.
Thirteen teams took to the courts, competing in both social and competitive brackets while rallying around a shared purpose: supporting victims and families impacted by impaired driving. Throughout the day, staff, volunteers, board members, families we’ve served, and members of the Wichita pickleball community played, connected, and learned more about DUI VCK mission.
A meaningful part of the event was the In Loving Memory wall, which honored 13 lives lost to impaired driving. Among them was Kaitlyn Greenman, whose story holds a deeply personal connection for a member of the Chicken N Pickle staff. She knew Kaitlyn and her family, and the crash continues to impact her life—serving as a powerful reminder that these tragedies extend far beyond the initial loss and affect entire communities.
Guests enjoyed a photo booth and entered for a chance to win a variety of prizes from the prize table, featuring ten prize baskets donated by local sponsors. With support from players, sponsors, and community partners, we raised $2,100 to fund court support, advocacy, referrals, and prevention education across Kansas.
The day brought fun, laughter, and friendly competition, while also creating space for reflection and remembrance. Together, we honored lives lost and strengthened our commitment to safer roads for everyone.
